Meet The Team

ASH PATEL

Having completed LLB and MA in Business Law, Ash qualified as a solicitor in 1982. He has over 40 years of experience as a lawyer specialising in mostly Commercial matters. He has extensive knowledge of Litigation ranging from Landlord & tenant disputes to Commercial Litigation in every field. He has also conducted international Arbitration and Mediation, especially with our associated firms in India. Ash has represented clients in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. He has defended cases involving Doctors facing erasure before the GMC and Privy Council.

Ash was past President and Secretary of the West London Law Society. He was also a Trustee of the Paddington Law Centre and a School Governor at a local school. He now serves as a local Councillor in Fulham. Ash is proud to be a life member of the MCC and keenly follows cricket and also supports a local West London football club. He plays golf and swims at the RAC, when time permits.

David Rippon

Qualified as a solicitor after completing his articles with Allen & Overy. He recently received congratulations from  the President of the Law Society on becoming the proud holder of 50 practicing certificates, a feat that few solicitors achieve. He undertakes mostly non-contentious work. His speciality is Probate and Private Client work. David has also worked for several firms as a Consultant advising on good practice, legal management and procedure. 

Etain Leung

Etain is a Law graduate from Oxford Brookes University and has completed her LPC/LLM studies at the University of Law. Previously she has garnered a vast array of legal work experience, from high-street law practices, non-governmental organisations to pro-bono work for the community surrounding her university. She was a member of the Oxford Brookes Law Society, Debate and Pro Bono Society. She also participated in the Cheerleading and Tennis team, attending competitions and sporting events. She has taken part in a short-term mission trip to Croatia, to assist in building schools and planning a festival for the children in Roma village. She has participated in a sponsored walk to raise money for the homeless shelter, Webber Street Day Centre.  

David Rosenberg

David practiced with his own firm in North London for many years before he joined us as a Consultant solicitor. David’s speciality is Matrimonial Finance and Litigation and he has also acted in several high-profile divorce cases. David was also past president of the West London Law Society. In his spare time, David also plays chess at the Royal Automobile Club at Pall Mall, and internationally with other reciprocal clubs.

Alph Wynter

Alph is a consultant solicitor with the practice. He qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and has over 35 years’ experience in different areas of law including Commercial Property and Residential Conveyancing. He holds a master’s degree in Business Law.  

He specialises with working with the elderly client, including preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and applications to the office of The Public Guardian on behalf of clients who have lost mental capacity.  

Alph was a past president and founder of the South London Law Society and has served on various committees of the Law Society.  

Andrew Coutts

Andrew Coutts is an expert in assisted reproduction treatments including IUI, IVF, sperm and egg donation and surrogacy. He is currently a PhD researcher at the Centre for Reproduction Research at De Montfort University in Leicester. He is a Consultant with the Practice on Medical Law matters. 

His academic qualifications include first degrees in Economics, Law and a master’s degree in education. As CEO of the International Fertility Company, Andrew has spent a decade visiting over 150 fertility clinics worldwide and is recognised as one of the world’s leading experts on so-called fertility tourism. This refers to the growing numbers of individuals and couples who travel for fertility treatment internationally.

Tim Becker

(In-House Counsel)

Tim was called to the Bar in 1992. He holds a degree from King’s College University of London. Tim’s practice is predominantly in the areas of Chancery, Commercial Law, Financial Remedy claims in Matrimonial and Children Act disputes  

He deals with all aspects of Company Law, particularly shareholder claims, boardroom disputes and Company Directors Disqualification actions. All levels of contractual and guarantee disputes and claims for misrepresentation and fraud.  

His clients come from as far afield as Dubai, Morrocco, Portugal, Czech Republic, India, USA and Australia. His interests include skiing and rowing and has previously competed in Yacht racing.
